The Arizona Cardinals should be one of the more intriguing teams to watch this offseason. Of course, the biggest storyline will be first pick quarterback Kyler Murray. That doesn't mean it's the only story, though.

Another one to follow is the wide receivers. That's a crowded bunch which still possesses veteran Larry Fitzgerald. He's one of the best to ever lace them up, but won't be playing for much longer. The wide receiver group also has two exciting rookies, Andy Isabella and Hakeem Butler. Both should play solid roles in year one and are expected to be big parts of the future of the organization.

With all that's going on there, and the unusual amount of players at the position, the Cardinals will have to make some cuts. Bob McManaman of AZCentral.com believes one that's cut could be Chad Williams.

Chad Williams was a third-round pick in 2017. However, his first two seasons have been extremely underwhelming. After recording just three receptions for 31 yards in six games in 2017, Williams improved last year, but just slightly.

Last season, the receiver finished with 17 receptions for 171 yards and one touchdown over 10 games.

Those aren't the type of numbers you want to put up if you plan on being kept around.

The Cardinals have 11 wide receivers on the roster at the moment. In a best-case scenario, they're keeping seven. That means at least four are being cut.

Fitzgerald is safe, as are Butler and Isabella. Christian Kirk will obviously be on the roster as well. That's four of the seven right there. Meanwhile, Kevin White and Pharoh Cooper both showed potential elsewhere, but things didn't work out. They'll definitely be making strong cases for spots as well.

Trent Sherfield showed promise as a rookie last season, while KeeSean Johnson (seriously) and A.J. Richardson are two other rookies this year trying to make a name for themselves. Damiere Byrd might be the only name that's definitely behind Williams at the moment, making things extremely difficult for the third-year receiver.

If Chad Williams wants to make the Arizona Cardinals this year, he definitely has an uphill battle. He has time to prove his worth, though: Cuts likely won't come into play for quite some time.
