The Arizona Cardinals learned about their schedule on Wednesday night. A quick look shows they will have a tough stretch in the middle of the season. Starting in Week 7 they play four of five games on the road.

In Week 7, the Cardinals have to fly across the country to the Big Apple to take on the New York Giants. In Week 8 they must fly to New Orleans to play in the Superdome, a place that has been tough to play in historically.

In Week 9 they get to return home to take on the San Francisco 49ers in a Thursday night game. In Week 10 they are back to the East Coast to take on Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They finish the tough stretch in Week 11, staying close to home but still having to go on the road to take on the 49ers.

The Cardinals are rewarded with the tough stretch by then playing three games in a row at home, before finishing the season on the road for the last two games.

Although it's going to be a tough stretch, it is going to be a good learning experience for whoever is their quarterback. If Josh Rosen is the quarterback, by that point the organization hopes he will be comfortable playing in the NFL. If it is Kyler Murray, such a gauntlet would give him a good taste of life on the road in the NFL. Although it might be tough now, it should serve the two men well as their respective careers develop.
