Vance Joseph may be employed again.

According to a new report, the Arizona Cardinals are interested in interviewing the former Broncos head coach for their still-vacant defensive coordinator job.

Joseph is also still in the running for the head coaching position at the Bengals, so it should be interesting to see which job offer — if any — comes through for him, and which he'll ultimately take.

Because Joseph is interviewing directly with the newly incoming Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury, he's considered a “strong candidate” for the defensive coordinator position.

However, in an interesting turn of events, Joseph is still being considered for the defensive coordinator position at the New York Jets, according to the NY Post.

Incoming head coach Adam Gase is reportedly considering both Vance Joseph and Gregg Williams for the Jets' still-vacant defensive coordinator position.

Williams, the former interim head coach for the Browns, has a bit of a controversial reputation thanks to his role in the Saints' “Bountygate” scandal. His role in the scandal led to a year-long suspension, so it's unclear why Gase would have him as a top pick. Williams served as the interim head coach for the Browns after they'd fired Hue Jackson; ultimately, Freddie Kitchens became the head coach in Jackson's place.

Vance Joseph isn't tainted by scandals, however, his career as of late hasn't been the best. He was fired by the Broncos after only two seasons and an 11-21 record, which — to put it mildly — left much to be desired from the team.
