Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray raised eyebrows with weird social media behavior earlier in the week. On Monday, he deleted every post on his Instagram account featuring him in a Cardinals' uniform. In fact, he only kept two posts up: the photo of him as the Heisman Trophy winner in December of 2018, and a carousel of nine pictures from the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl.

Of course, this led to immediate speculation and rumors, and fans wondered whether or not there was bad blood between Murray and Arizona. After the best start of the season, the Cardinals didn't meet expectations and we were knocked out in the first round of the 2022 NFL Playoffs.

Now, the Cardinals are engaging in similar social media moves. They deleted every picture on their Instagram account, except for photos from the Pro Bowl and the photo of Murray the day he was drafted.

PFF reporter Ari Meirov tweeted the news Friday afternoon.

From first glance, this is obviously cause for concern, especially for Cardinals fans who want to see Murray lead the team in Arizona next season. However, some are speculating that the team is doing a rebrand and changing their uniforms.

This, or some other branding explanation, would make the most sense. Murray is the face of the franchise, which would explain why he of all players would delete posts in the current uniform. He also still follows teammates like Zach Ertz and DeAndre Hopkins.
