The Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals clash on Monday Night Football will be one of the best matchups of Wild Card Weekend.

For Rams fans, all eyes will be on Matthew Stafford, who represents the most drastic change the team made in the offseason when it shipped out Jared Goff and future assets. How far he carries them will loom large over the success of that deal.

Safe to say Budda Baker wants them to feel some buyer's remorse. The Cardinals Pro Bowl safety was vocal on zoning in to neutralize Stafford ahead of their showdown, dropping subtle hints on how they'll attack him. Sounds like there may be intention to turn up the heat with some blitzing.

“No quarterback in the NFL likes to get sacked,” Baker said on Thursday’s Big Red Rage. “And every quarterback in the NFL, if they’re accustomed to getting pressured or sacked by D-linemen, of course they’re gonna possibly have those lapses when they think somebody’s coming and they’re not coming.”

“I can’t really spoil the sauce to you, but of course the defense’s job is to get the ball back to the offense. So we’re gonna try to do that each and every time we’re on the field.”

Arizona was one of the very best at applying pressure against Stafford during their regular season contest against the Rams. Budda Baker and the Cardinals are hoping to continue that trend in the postseason.
