Last season was a rough one for the Arizona Cardinals. The team fell apart right at the beginning of the season and was never able to recover. Head coach Steve Wilks was fired after just one season, and Kliff Kingsbury was brought in to replace him.

With Kingsbury at the helm, there's a newfound sense of optimism surrounding the team. The defense had some talent last year, but they struggled mightily. Under new defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, they're hoping to make a big leap.

The Cardinals pick first in this April's NFL Draft, and most of the discussion has centered around Kyler Murray. But if the Cardinals stay pat with Josh Rosen and don't take a quarterback, they'll likely add to their defensive front. Cardinals star pass-rusher Chandler Jones is very much on board with that idea.

When Jones was asked about the possibility of the team drafting Nick Bosa, Quinnen Williams, or Josh Allen, the top three defensive linemen in the draft, Jones sounded very excited, per Bob McManaman of The Arizona Republic.

“Oh, that would be tremendous,” Jones said. “I don’t know what we’re going to do in the draft, but it’s easy. When you have a force in the middle, the quarterback can’t step up and it makes the edge rush easy. All you have to do is beat the guy, run behind him and there’s the sack right there. So that would be tremendous,” he explained.

Jones clearly wants some help getting pressure, as too often last year he was a one-man wrecking crew.

Over the past two seasons, Jones has 30 sacks, and he's one of the best edge rushers in the league. It'll be very interesting to see what Arizona does at number one, and fortunately, we won't have to wait much longer.
