The Arizona Cardinals may have taken three wide receivers in the 2019 NFL Draft back in April, but that does not mean that any of them will end up winning the No. 1 receiver role.

According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, second-year wide out Christian Kirk has looked like the best receiver on the roster thus far this offseason.

Kirk, who played his collegiate football at Texas A&M, was originally selected by the Cardinals in the second round (47th pick overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.

He played in just 12 games during his rookie campaign due to a broken foot he suffered late in the year, but when he was on the field, he was solid, hauling in 43 receptions for 590 yards and three touchdowns.

Of course, it's not like Kirk had a great quarterback throwing him the football, either, as then-rookie Josh Rosen (who was traded to the Miami Dolphins this offseason) struggled throughout the season.

It's worth noting that Arizona will be going into 2019 with another rookie under center, as the Cardinals took Oklahoma signal-caller Kyler Murray with the first overall pick.

Kirk will almost surely be one of Murray's top targets this coming season.

The 22-year-old spent three seasons at Texas A&M, with his best year actually coming during his freshman campaign when he caught 80 passes for 1,009 yards and seven touchdowns.

Kirk then followed that up by snaring 83 balls for 928 yards and nine scores during his sophomore year, and in his junior season, he registered 71 catches for 919 yards while reaching the end zone 10 times.
