Despite the fact that the Arizona Cardinals fell to a disappointing 3-6-1 on the season after coming up just shy of a victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, fans of the upstart NFC West franchise definitely had a few things to be happy about on Sunday afternoon.

With Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk producing some huge numbers against the Buccaneers, just about everyone in the league was put on notice as this young team continues to impress on the offensive side of the football.

Kirk finished the outing with six receptions for a whopping 138 yards and three touchdowns. He averaged an even 23 yards per catch in the loss as well.

“After that big game in Baltimore, I felt like I was hitting my stride, and then the injury came,” Kirk said after his team's Week 10 matchup, via the Cardinals' official website. “That was the most frustrating part. To get back out here post-injury and have a good game, and just contribute to try to help this team win. The most frustrating part is I haven’t been on the field for a win yet.”

With everyone in the desert impressed with the play of Kirk on Sunday afternoon against the Buccaneers, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray knew that the up-and-coming pass-catcher was due for a huge game.

“Christian is special,” Murray said of Kirk, via the team's official website. “I know that. We all know that.”

Even though the standings won't show it, the Cardinals are improving every week and certainly have a bright future in front of them.
