The Arizona Cardinals continue obfuscating. With the NFL Draft quickly approaching, there's still no telling what direction they will go with the number one overall pick come April 25th. The Cardinals are keeping their approach close to the vest, but one of the biggest reasons why they supposedly remain undecided is because the team has yet to make a decision on the future of quarterback Josh Rosen.

Is the UCLA product the right quarterback for rookie coach Kliff Kingsbury's offense? Is he even capable of developing into a top-tier signal-caller? And if not, who will Arizona choose to replace him – and will general manager Steve Keim use the number one pick to do it?

We're unlikely to know those answers for weeks to come. Fox Sports personality Colin Cowherd, though, has already made up the Cardinals' minds for them.

Rosen threw for 2,278 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions while completing just 55.2 percent of his passes as a rookie. He played behind one of the league's most porous offensive lines, though, an especially debilitating issue for a quarterback who's hardly fleet of foot.

Making Murray Arizona's quarterback of the present and future would certainly make it easier for Kingsbury to mitigate the effects of a lack of pass protection. He's one of the most dynamic athletes to ever play the position. Kingsbury has a known affinity for the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, too, saying in October, as coach of Texas Tech, that he would “take [Murray] with the first pick in the draft if I could.”
