The Arizona Cardinals are up against it when they face the New Orleans Saints later today. However, they will face one of the toughest opponents in their calendar without one of the more explosive running backs.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Robinson has been listed ineligible to play against the Saints. Depending on the severity of his injury, the his time out may extend even further.

The running back also has issues on his back, and not playing in the Saints game will allow him time to recover and be in full health as quickly as possible. However, they will definitely miss his powerful running as it's one of the facets of the Cardinals' offense. He gets at least 10 carries a game and gets anywhere from 30 to 90 yards a game.

His biggest asset lies in his versatility as a playmaker. He gets good receiving yards as a passing option for the Cardinals, and he's been very productive on that end. His receiving touchdown tally so far is at three while Johnson has recorded two rushing touchdowns.

Not all hope is lost for the Cardinals, though. The team is feeling good after building up a three-game winning streak. The team is confident that they can put on a show against the reinforced Saints.

“I just feel like everyone is growing,” outside linebacker Chandler Jones said, per Kyle Odegard of AZCardinals.com. “Our whole team, they’re buying into what the coaches are coaching. We’re starting to jell together, and it’s not surprising to any of us that we’re on a winning streak. This is what we’ve always believed.”

Fans will be intrigued to see how the Cardinals will fight back against a dangerous Saints team.
