Arizona Cardinals star J.J. Watt has showcased his good nature as a human being on countless occasions, never shying away from the chance to extend a helping hand to those in need. After the tragedy in Waukesha, Wisconsin on Sunday, during which five people were killed and 48 more were injured after a driver struck into a group of people during the town's Christmas Parade, Watt has once again stepped up.

According to Cory Jennerjohn of WisconsinGifted, Watt has offered to cover the funeral costs for the victims of the crash, in yet another touching gesture from the Cardinals' defensive end.

Watt, of course, has a close connection to Wisconsin, having played college football for the University of Wisconsin. While he's more than a decade removed from his junior season in Madison, Watt didn't hesitate to offer his support during the trying times.

After hearing about the tragedy, Watt took to social media to share his condolences, tweeting out his concerns for those involved. He followed it up by putting his money where his mouth is, and actually going forth with the truly heartwarming gesture.

Watt has always been eager to offer aid to those in need. During his time with the Texans, Watt was massively philanthropic, particularly in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. That hasn't changed now that he's in Arizona, and he's once again showcasing the good that professional athletes can do with the platform they have.
