Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray suffered a hamstring injury in the team's victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. He is going to undergo an MRI on the injury and is still expected to play in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said on Monday that the team would be playing Murray unless the MRI or practice shows that he shouldn't play.

“If he’s able to play, he’s going to play,” Kingsbury said at a press conference via Pro Football Talk.

Murray said after the game that he felt a little tightness in the game and didn't want to put the team in a bad position by continuing to play.

“I just felt a little tightness,” Murray said via Josh Weinfuss of ESPN. “I wouldn't put myself in any situation if I couldn't be myself, play my game. I didn't want to put the team in jeopardy by putting myself out there like that.”

Brett Hundley came in for Murray and was impressive in throwing for 49 yards. He also ran for 35 yards on six carries. The Seahawks tried to come back late but Hundley made just enough plays to hold them off.

If Murray can't go, it will be Hundley who will get the start and the team has a lot of faith in him. The hope is Murray will be healthy enough to go and the Cardinals will be able to start him.

Kingsbury wants Murray to get as many reps as possible this year and facing a good Rams defense would be another good test.
