The Arizona Cardinals debuted their first unofficial depth chart for the 2019 season earlier this week. As expected, quarterback Kyler Murray is listed as a starter. The No. 1 hailing from Oklahoma is regarded as pro-ready, and in a system built for his play-style, come Thursday, that'll be shown in a preseason game versus the Los Angeles Chargers. But, it's still unknown how much Murray we'll see on Thursday, as AZCentral's Kent Somers reports via Twitter.

On Saturday, head coach Kliff Kingsbury talked about the gameplan for Murray on Thursday and how much he'll play. Telling reporters, via Cardinals Wire's Jess Root, he said,

I think the goal is for us to get him out of the game with him feeling good about what went on out there. So whatever that takes, if it’s three plays, it will be three plays. If it’s 10-12 plays, it will be 12.

The telling of three to 12 plays should mean Murray may only play for one drive. Three plays being a three and out, and 12 being a lengthy drive down the field. If that's the case, Cardinals fans will likely see a trio of Brett Hundley, Charles Kanoff, and Drew Anderson for the rest of the game.

The Cardinals have kept plans relatively secret throughout the offseason, avoiding leaks of how Kingsbury's Air Raid will work and what their plans are to build it up. Kingsbury's statement of playing Murray on limited snaps, but not defining how many clearly, is a continuation of that process. But, don't expect a lot of Murray on Thursday.
