The Arizona Cardinals are slumping. Again. After starting the season 7 – 0, the team is slowly starting to fall apart. They have lost three straight games at the moment, including one to the lowly Detroit Lions. This late-season collapse has unfortunately been a staple for Kyler Murray and the team under Kliff Kingsbury.

Now, the Cardinals are in danger of missing the playoffs completely, after being seen as a lock for the first-round bye earlier this season. Kyler Murray isn't too worried, though, if his comments are to be believed. (via Cardinals' Official Site)

“People are making dramatic statements and all that stuff about the team. There's nothing crazy that needs to be done. It's just everybody has got to do their job. Everybody has got to be a little bit better. Stop turning the ball over, stop making mistakes, penalties, and stuff like that and we'll be fine.”

It's hard not to get worried about the Cardinals collapsing, though, if you're a fan. In each of Kingsbury's first three seasons, the team hasn't been able to end the season on a high note, as they've struggled towards the end of the season. It's happening once again, as a team that looked like a Super Bowl contender to start the year was beaten soundly by the then 1-11-1 Lions in Week 15.

Worse, the team is dealing with some significant injuries at the moment. The Cardinals are without DeAndre Hopkins for the entire season due to a torn MCL. Now, their two primary running backs in James Conner and Chase Edmonds might be out or limited for the home stretch of the regular season.

It's one thing to talk about being fine. However, Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury need to prove that they can stop another late-season collapse for the Cardinals.
