The drama between the Arizona Cardinals and Kyler Murray is back on.

After scrubbing his social media clean of Cardinals-related posts earlier this offseason, Murray addressed the concerns around his future with Arizona. The star quarterback said that he wasn't worried about his future with the team. The latest development in his contract extension talks with the team may change his tone, though.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Cardinals have not offered a new contract to Murray, so his agent is pulling his proposal. Rival teams are ready to make a move, though Arizona has not yet indicated Murray is available for trade. He is expected to hold off playing for the Cardinals until he gets a new contract.

The Cardinals got thumped in the Wild Card round of the playoffs last season after looking like one of the NFL's best teams early on. Murray made his second Pro Bowl but played poorly in the playoffs. Arizona has yet to make any massive moves following the disappointing end of their season.

Arizona's star pass rusher, Chandler Jones, left the team after the team's owner made some degrading comments about his contract. Jones' departure for the Las Vegas Raiders may have some influence on Murray's happiness with the team since he called Jones one of his favorite teammates.

Wide receiver Christian Kirk and running back Chase Edmonds also left the Cardinals in free agency, leaving Murray with a depleted depth chart. Arizona has re-signed A.J. Green but will need to do much more in order to compete with Murray at the helm.
