The Arizona Cardinals drafted Larry Fitzgerald with the third overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. Not only has the wide receiver lived up to expectations, he's somehow shattered them.
Fitzgerald has spent his entire career with the Cardinals. In that time, he has 1,303 receptions for 16,279 yards and 116 touchdowns.

Well, according to AZCentral.com, Fitzgerald isn't just on the list of top-100 Cardinals of all-time – he tops the list at number one.
Again, this shouldn't come as any surprise. Fitzgerald isn't just one of the best Cardinals of all-time, he's one of the best players of all-time. You could even make a legitimate case that he's at the very top of the receivers.
Fitzgerald's had five seasons of at least 100 receptions, and three more with 90-plus. He's had nine seasons with 1,000-plus yards as well. He reached both those marks as recently as 2017. Finally, the Pittsburgh product has had five double-digit touchdown seasons.
Fitzgerald's an expert route runner who used a ridiculous combination of speed, size, and athleticism to get open and make receptions over defenders. He has some of the most-sure hands of all-time and is an elite-level blocking.
Even now at age 35, Fitzgerald's a steady hand who any QB would love to have as a weapon.
Most importantly, though is his character. Fitzgerald has been a model teammate and an incredible role model in his community. He's a great locker room leader and has never caused distractions. He's exactly who you would want on your roster, and it has made him that much more desirable.
Larry Fitzgerald is a superstar on the field – putting up monster numbers. He's a model teammate as well, as proof by his longevity with the team. There's more than one reason for Fitzgerald getting the honor of number one Arizona Cardinals player of all-time, and really it's impossible to argue with.
