The Arizona Cardinals will conclude their home schedule in Sunday's Week 15 tilt with the Cleveland Browns. That may not be the only thing concluding, however.

Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is in his 16th NFL season on the last year of his deal and at 36 years old must have thoughts of retirement lingering somewhere in his mind. There is a very real possibility that Sunday will be the last time he plays in front of the only home crowd he knows in the NFL.

However, he is non-committal on the issue. It could be his last Cardinals home game, or it could not be. He won't tell.

“It could be. You never know. You never know,” Fitzgerald said, via Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. “I don’t give it much thought. I’ve told you before, I stay in the moment, man. The career will end. When it ends, it end.”

Fitzgerald's lack of an update should come as no surprise. In recent years, he's been mum about returning at the end of respective contracts, only to do just that. Last offseason, he signed a one-year deal worth $11 million, his number.

If Fitzgerald does call it quits at the end of the 2019 campaign, he will do so knowing those in Arizona got their money worth watching him play at StateFarm Stadium. In his storied career, “Larry Legend” has tallied 706 receptions for 8,768 yards and 63 touchdowns at home, posting a 70-53 record in the process.

Fitzgerald may add more digits to his home stat line after Sunday, or not. The real truth of the matter shall come in the offseason.
