There are a lot of people who celebrate a touchdown by spiking the ball but for Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald that never was the case, until Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

It's been a frustrating year for the future Hall of Famer and his teammates and he took those out after a successful two-point conversion. Fitzgerald said he was frustrated by his oldest son Devin's decision to go to the Arizona State Fair, instead of the Cardinals game.

“I was a little frustrated and had a heavy heart today,” Fitzgerald said via ESPN. “My feelings were a little hurt, so I was carrying that around all day. So, when I got in there, I kind of let it out. To all the kids that are watching, I'm sorry. I set a bad example today.”

It's clear that this season has been trying for everyone surrounding the team, including Devin who Fitzgerald said has given up on the season and it's something that he needs to work on.

“So, I'm trying to pick up the pieces,” Fitzgerald said. “I have to be a better father.”

Fitzgerald had his best game of the season against the 49ers catching eight passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. It's almost hard to watch Fitzgerald because it appears that his career could wrap up on a sour note. It's clear he doesn't have many years left and with the way the Cardinals are playing, there are probably a lot more losses coming their way.
