Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald showed that there's more to his game than just catching passes by throwing for his first touchdown in Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

With a lot of uncertainties surrounding Fitzgerald's future in the NFL, many wondered if the star wideout would be playing in his final home game in the matchup against the Rams.

Well, if it was, Fitzgerald decided to pull off a career-first.

The Cardinals were trailing 14-3 in the second quarter when they chose to get creative on offense by allowing Fitzgerald to throw the ball down the field.

And it's clear that the Rams had no idea it was coming, as it resulted in Fitzgerald's first touchdown pass of his pro career.

Of course, it was the Rams that came out on top on the scoreboard, with Sean McVay's squad earning a 31-9 victory to move to 12-3 on the season.

As for Arizona, it fell to 3-12 in Steve Wilks' first year on the job, and rumors suggest that it could be his only year as the team's head coach. The Cardinals simply haven't been able to find any sort of rhythm this season, and it's clear that some major changes are needed within the organization.

The hope is that one of those changes doesn't involve the need to replace the production of Fitzgerald, but retirement is undoubtedly an option at this point for the 15-year pro.

Arizona will finish up the regular season next Sunday in a road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
