Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Hakeem Butler is glad to finally have the opportunity to play for head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Butler was drafted in the fourth round with the No. 103 overall pick, and he's someone that could play a significant role in Kingsbury's unique offensive system.

Of course, that same offensive style is what had Butler wanting to play for Kingsbury in college.

From Bob McManaman of The Arizona Republic:

Cardinals' 4th-rd pick, Iowa State WR Hakeem Butler: “I’m super excited to play with Kliff Kingsbury. I told him when I met him at the combine I wanted to go to Texas Tech and they didn’t offer me in. He just called me and told me he wasn’t going to make the same mistakes twice.”

It's easy to understand why Butler is excited to join the Cardinals, especially considering that No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray will be leading the way at quarterback.

Arizona hired Kingsbury with the hopes that he would be able to transform their offense, and adding two talents like Murray and Butler will give him the opportunity to do just that.

The Cardinals also drafted three other players that could help on offense, with UMass wide receiver Andy Isabella, Fresno State wide receiver Keesean Johnson, and UCLA tight end Caleb Wilson joining the mix.
