Sam Bradford, who missed most of last season because of injury, took only eight snaps and attempted one throw in his first preseason game with the Arizona Cardinals. According to Pro Football Talk, Cardinals coach Steve Wilks said that Bradford will receive more playing time in Game 2 as they try to get him ready to be starting quarterback for week one.

Even though Bradford only played eight snaps in the first game he was okay with it and actually seemed a bit happy he didn't play more.

Not really, to be honest,” the Cardinals starting quarterback said, via Darren Urban of the team website. “We’ve still got a couple of preseason games left. Bradford has all the tools to be a great starting quarterback in the league and has proven that he can be. The biggest issue in his career has been getting hurt and it happened against last year with the Minnesota Vikings. After having one of the best starts of his career in Week one he injured his knee and couldn't get himself right the rest of the year.

Bradford has said time and time again that he is healthy now and that is key for the Cardinals as they try to get back into the playoffs in a very tough NFC.
