We now have all the details on Terrell Suggs' one-year, $7 million deal with the Arizona Cardinals, which first broke yesterday.

After 16 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, Suggs is finally off to the Cardinals, and with the help of Sports Illustrated, we're bringing you the details of his new contract agreement.

First, we already knew that Suggs' new contract was going to be profitable for him, because he's got an unimpeachable reputation. He is a seven-time Pro Bowler and won Defensive Player of the Year in 2011. Suggs is also 14th on the all-time sack list and is the NFL career leader in tackles for loss. He leads all active players in forced fumbles. Suggs tallied seven sacks and 13 tackles for loss in 2018.

Second, we also knew that Terrell Suggs would be intrigued about heading to Arizona and they definitely could use all the help they can get from him. Suggs reached the playoffs nine times with Baltimore, winning Super Bowl XLVII against the 49ers in Feb. 2013. Arizona, meanwhile, has missed the playoffs for three straight seasons.

This is not to say that Suggs will be solely responsible for the Cardinals' success. New head coach Kliff Kingsbury will also, no doubt, help to coach the team to victory.

But this is to say that now, with Terrell Suggs on the team, and with him coming from a team that placed a lot of emphasis on the defense — and the Ravens' defense has been consistently voted as the best in the league — the Cardinals just might become contenders.
