The early release of Madden 21 player ratings has sparked endless debates, already adding to what seemed to be a wild offseason thus far. Atlanta Hawks rising star Trae Young backed his fellow Oklahoma Sooner and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, who he thinks deserves more credit for his play on the field.

Young voiced his reaction on Twitter:

Kyler Murray recorded 3,722 passing yards, 64.4% completion percentage, and scored 20 touchdowns last season en route to the 2019 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. With limited weapons at his disposal, he failed to lead his squad to a playoff berth. The Cardinals ended the 2019 season on a disappointing 5-10 record.

With the arrival of star wideout DeAndre Hopkins and prized recruit Isaiah Simmons, things could get interesting in the desert for the upcoming season. The team also reinstated veteran wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald, to a one-year deal to remain in Arizona.

The Cardinals also acquired productive linebackers in former Atlanta Falcon De'Vondre Campbell and former Detroit Lion Devon Kennard. Defensive endĀ  Jordan Philips looks to continue his career performance last season, this time as a member of the Cardinals.

With an improved roster, the team is hoping to do better than their 5-10 record last season. They will be aiming to join in the race to clinch the NFC West division title together with the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and the Los Angeles Rams.

Murray and the rest of the Cardinals will be heading to the Bay Area for the first game of the 2020 season. They will be playing against San Francisco 49ers on September 14 at the Levi's Stadium.
