Zach Ertz made history with his first touchdown as a member of the Arizona Cardinals, a 47-yard score against the Houston Texans.

Not only was it the longest score of the thee-time Pro Bowler's career but it marked the first time in NFL history that a player scored a touchdown in back-to-back weeks on two different teams in the same season, according to Mark Dalton, Cardinals' Senior Vice President of Media Relations.

The Cardinals acquired Ertz from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for rookie cornerback Tay Gowan and a fifth-round draft pick. The trade gave quarterback Kyler Murray another weapon while opening up the Eagles' Dallas Goedert to fully take the reins as Philly's top tight end. It also gives the 30-year-old Ertz the chance to remain in championship contention, which the rebuilding Eagles could not afford him.

Leaving the Eagles was a very emotional process for Ertz, who had been with the team since being drafted in 2013. He called Philadelphia his home and used a full page in a local paper to explain what the city means to him. Being moved to a team with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations should make the move easier to deal with, though.

Ertz and Maxx Williams will be the feature tight ends in Arizona's offense, complimenting DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, A.J. Green and a deep receiving core. Arizona remains the only undefeated team left in the league, boasting a 7-0 record after defeating the Texans.
