One of the players that has started the season incredibly well is New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis. The 7-foot-3 Latvian international is playing the best basketball of his career so far and has left a lot of people in much amazement of his skills on the court.

One of them is his All-Star teammate, Carmelo Anthony.

The 32-year-old Syracuse product has been very impressed with the continuous development he has seen in Porzingis and raved about the improved skill set he's shown so far in the young season.

“I'm still in awe of kind of some of the things he does on the court. Like yesterday, he made a move and I'm like, ‘Damn.' You know what I mean? I'm still like a fan of kind of his talent and his skill level. I always thought it would kind of take longer to get acclimated. He's doing a great job with just kind of taking it day by day, still getting a feel for the game and figuring it out on the fly.”

With averages of  21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks in 32.9 minutes per game, Porzingis continues to prove that he'll be one of the best players in the league in the future.

If he continues to play at this level as the season progresses, Porzingis will not only impress his teammates and coaches but also more basketball fans around the world. It also makes it more possible for the Knicks to finally make a return to the playoffs and even go deep.
