The past and present of the Chicago Bulls were in attendance at Carmelo Anthony’s home for Thanksgiving as Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose arrived in New York to share the joys of a home-cooked meal.

One day later, Rose and Anthony shared the joys of a thrilling 113-111 overtime win against the Charlotte Hornets at the Garden. It seems as though the holiday festivities did the trick for Carmelo, who came through in the clutch.

After failing to hit the deciding shot in regulation, the 32-year-old knew he could do better on the second attempt, per Marc Berman of the New York Post:

“I felt like I could get that same good look again,’’ Anthony said.
