Last playing in the NBA in the 2015-2016 season, Caron Butler has made it clear that he's not retired yet, and would still consider making a comeback to the league.

The 14-year veteran recently had a Q&A with Adam Caparell of Complex Sports, where he shared what's keeping him busy these days and also gave his thoughts on some of the much talked about topics in the league today. However, what came as somewhat of a shock was when he admitted that there's only three teams — the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs — he is considering to play for.

“I’m only playing if I’m playing for a contender. There’s only three contenders out there. If I’m not playing on those three teams, then this is what I’m doing.”

Butler may already be 37-years-old now, but he still believes he can be a contributor to a contender and even become their veteran locker room leader. He won a championship back in 2011 with the Dallas Mavericks and was also named an All-Star twice in his career.

With his experience having played with some of the best players in the league, Butler definitely has a lot to offer to either of the three teams and could boost their chances of winning the championship even more. For now, all he can do is just wait and see if the Cavs, Warriors or Spurs show interest in the offseason and offer him a contract this summer.
