The Philadelphia Eagles and Carson Wentz will head to U.S. Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. The Eagles quarterback has done well in the offense despite having his receiving corps riddled with injuries in recent weeks.

Throughout the first five games of the season, Wentz has thrown for 1,152 yards, 10 touchdowns, and two interceptions. With those numbers, Philadelphia currently sits in second place in the NFC East with a 3-2 record.

To begin the season, the Eagles have seen DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, and others miss games at the wide receiver position. Jeffery is back in the offense, but Jackson is expected to miss his fourth straight game after suffering an abdominal injury in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons.

With Jackson being sidelined again, Philadelphia will be facing a stringy pass defense of the Vikings this weekend. In light of that, here are three bold predictions for Wentz in Week 6 versus the Vikings.

3. Wentz will complete 70 percent of his passes

As good as Wentz has looked in his first 45 games, one of his weaknesses is consistently being accurate with the football. Back in Week 1, the fourth-year quarterback completed nearly 72 percent of his passes en route to a comeback win for the Eagles over the Washington Redskins.

However, in the four games since, Wentz has failed to complete more than 60 percent of his attempts in any of the games. Throughout his NFL career, Wentz has only had 10 games where he has completed more than 70 percent of his passes.

Come time this Sunday, Philadelphia's franchise quarterback will add another game to that list. Wentz will do so against a talented Vikings defense that is allowing 68.6 percent of passes to be completed against them this season (22nd in the NFL).

2. Wentz will extend his streak of no interceptions to four games

Due to the injuries at the wide receiver position, Doug Pederson has elected to run the ball more often to relieve some pressure off of Wentz. As a result, Wentz has gone three consecutive weeks without throwing an interception.

Considering that, the talented signal-caller will extend his streak of no interceptions to four games this Sunday. In his first three seasons, Wentz has had a four-game stretch of no interceptions being thrown just once.

That four-game stretch came in 2018 from Weeks 4-7, with one of those games coming against the Vikings. Minnesota has forced four interceptions this season (tied for fifth-most in the NFL). Nevertheless, Wentz will protect the ball as he attempts to take down Mike Zimmer's stout defense.

1. Wentz will throw for 300 yards

When the Eagles squared off against the Redskins in Week 1, Wentz aired it out for 313 yards and three touchdowns. Then, in the following four games, he has fallen short of 260 passing yards in every single one of them.

Even though he won't get Jackson back in the lineup in Week 6, Wentz is going to pick apart Minnesota's defense for 300 yards on Sunday. At the same time, it won't be an easy task for Wentz to have success through the air against this Vikings team.

This season, the Vikings have yet to allow a team to throw for over 300 yards. Remarkably, you would have to go back to Week 13 of last season against the New England Patriots to find the last game that they've surrendered 300 passing yards in a game.
