Even though Case Keenum is trying to play down his return to Minnesota as just another game, there are no doubt going to be some extra emotions. Keenum hasn't lived up to expectations since leaving the Minnesota Vikings, but he is going to want to prove a point after the Vikings decided to not bring him back and turn to Kirk Cousins.

So what kind of game is Keenum is going to have in his return to US Bank Stadium? Let's break down three bold predictions for Keenum's performance against the Vikings.

3. Throws for less than 200 yards

The Vikings' pass defense hasn't been as good the last couple of games, but they were facing some good quarterbacks like Carson Wentz and Matthew Stafford. Keenum isn't the same level of quarterbacks as Wentz or Stafford and this is going to be a good get back game for the Vikings defense.

Against the Miami Dolphins two games ago, Keenum threw for only 166 yards. Against the San Francisco 49ers, he only threw for 77 yards, but not much can be taken from that because of the rain.

This feels like a game where Keenum struggles throwing much as he did against the Dolphins. He might get close to 200 yards because of garbage time stats, but this is going to be another bad game for Keenum.

2. Doesn't throw a touchdown

The Vikings defense has been good at bend not break football (except last week against the Lions). They at times will let teams move the ball, but once the opponents get into the red zone they do a good job of holding teams to field goals.

Keenum has done a good job of throwing touchdowns this year, but if they get close and the Redskins want to score a touchdown, they are going to hand it off to Adrian Peterson. It's going to be very hard for the Redskins to score by any route in this game.

1. Keenum doesn't keep the starting job

Keenum won't get benched in this game, but this is going to be his last start for the Redskins. At some point, Dwayne Haskins needs to take over the starting job and with a couple of extra days with this game being on Thursday, it's a perfect time to do it.

Keenum isn't the future of this team, Haskins is, so the team needs to figure out what he can do. The big question for Keenum is if this will be his last start ever in the NFL.
