Since Kyrie Irving's recent trade request came to light, there have been numerous subtle shots sent from the All-Star point toward his teammate LeBron James and vice-versa — or at least how the public interpreted things.

It appears that the four-time league MVP has delivered another message directed at Irving via social media just over a day after the latter had posted a photo on Instagram while on vacation from the balcony of a home with an oceanside view.

James appears to be referencing the lyrics of Drake's song “Portland,” which has just so happens to line up with Irving's photo that came the day. This isn't the first time that the 32-year-old has apparently thrown some shade at his Cleveland Cavaliers teammate as he posted a video of himself listening to a verse of Meek Mill's song “Heavy Heart” a few days earlier.

It's quite clear that the two no longer have a strong standing relationship after Irving's trade request became public knowledge. This only makes a trade the inevitable next step for the Cavaliers to take in order to find a solution to the situation.

At this point, there is no clarity as to when a move will be made, but the longer it persists, the more likely things of this nature may arise in the process.
