Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry had another vintage performance on Wednesday as he led his team to a 129-105 pounding of the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers. While the basketball world was once again left in awe by the former two-time MVP's brilliance, Cavs point guard Collin Sexton did not appear to be too impressed.

Sexton had a front row seat to the Curry show on Wednesday as the former scoring champion dropped 42 big points on the rookie along with nine three-pointers, nine rebounds, seven assists, and one steal, while going 11-of-20 from the field and 11-of-12 from the line.

That's probably as good as it gets in terms of an all-around performance, but in his mind, Sexton saw Curry's effort as nothing more than pedestrian.

“He’s just another player who is really good and a good guard in the league,” Collin Sexton said, via Joe Vardon of The Athletic.

Come on now, Collin. We know it sucks to have your defensive assignment score 42 big ones against you, but credit has to be given where it is due. In order to achieve greatness, one has to recognize it, especially when it's right smack in your face.

Hopefully, this is just Collin Sexton trying to save face after the blowout at the hands of Curry and co. He still remains to be the Cavs' point guard of the future, and part of his journey will need to include several lessons on humility.
