Transitioning from being a college hooper to being a professional basketball player in the NBA is tough as you compete with the best of the best, just ask Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Evan Mobley.

Mobley immediately got his “Welcome to the NBA” moment delivered to him by Memphis Grizzlies big man Steven Adams as the rookie got savagely blocked and then posterized by Adams.

However, despite getting blocked and posterized, the Cavs' rookie showed a lot of promise and potential as he still drained down buckets despite being guarded by one of the best defensive big men in the NBA. Steven Adams and Mobley went toe-to-toe against each other as they traded buckets down the stretch.

Mobley averaged 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and a whopping 2.9 blocks in his lone season with USC. The Cavs will look to pair Evan with the recently acquired Lauri Markkanen in the frontcourt as they will look to wreak havoc with their abilities to space the floor.

The Cavs also have a veteran big man in Kevin Love who will help in showing Mobley the ropes on how to survive and succeed in the NBA. The third overall pick will look to make an impact in his first season with the Cavs.
