LeBron James was apparently so bored with the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar decided to clip his fingernails during Game 2.
The Cavaliers took the Raptors to the figurative woodshed Thursday night, taking a 2-0 lead in the second-round series. As for LeBron James, he was dominant, finishing the game with 41 points, 14 assists and 8 rebounds. It was his fourth playoff game with 40-plus points and 10-plus assists, breaking a tie with Michael Jordan, Jerry West and Oscar Robertson.
In fact, James is averaging a downright silly 34.4 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor in the 2018 NBA Playoffs.
The absolute beating down of the Raptors by the Cavaliers resulted in several funny moments on the mean streets of Twitter. LeBron's friend and business partner, Maverick Carter, turned to Twitter to highlight how James' awesomeness is still a thing to be amazed by.
Another buddy of King James, and former teammate, Dwyane Wade also turned to Twitter to literally “at” his friend about his Thursday evening shenanigans.
Heck, Dallas Legends star, and sometimes Dallas Mavericks talent, Jameel Warney had some fun on Twitter during the game.
It was a great night for almost everyone involved — sans the Raptors and their fans. For those people, it was yet another brutal pill to swallow.
The greatest trick James may have pulled, though, is being the only guy to drag a “clipper” to the playoffs this season.
Get it? GET IT?!
