After the contest between the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons, Al Horford had something to say about Blake Griffin. Horford is not a fan of Griffin's flopping and tendency to complain to the refs.

Horford told Chris Grenham of CLNS Media:

“Yeah … Blake is a great actor. I was going for the ball. He sold it well. I don't think it was a flagrant foul.”

Horford was called for a flagrant foul late in the fourth quarter when he and Griffin collided while going for the ball. The Celtics big man could only laugh after the call:

The Celtics ended up winning the contest by a score of 118-110.

Boston had five starters and six total players who scored in double digits. Jayson Tatum led the way with 19 points, while Gordon Hayward added 18 points, five rebounds, and eight assists as well. Al Horford nearly posted a triple-double, scoring 17 points with 14 rebounds and eight assists. Marcus Smart had 16 points and five assists as well.

The Pistons had four starters and five players total score in double digits. Blake Griffin had 32 points, leading the way for both teams, as well as eight rebounds and five assists. Andre Drummond had 21 points as well as 17 rebounds. Reggie Jackson added 18 points as well.

The Celtics have been struggling to remain consistent offensively this season. It took until January of this season for Kyrie Irving and the rest of the squad to mesh. There's so much depth on the roster, sometimes there's just not enough shot attempts for everyone.

The Pistons, on the other hand, have floated around .500 all season long in the East. Griffin has played very well, but the team doesn't have a reliable point guard or a lot of depth on the roster.

The Celtics are now 37-21 and sit in the fourth seed of the NBA's Eastern Conference.
