The Boston Celtics have lost their last four games, and with 20 games left in the season, it looks like they will be heading into the playoffs with all sorts of question marks. Celtics veteran forward Al Horford recently spoke about the team's recent struggles, saying that he'd rather play good basketball than be in a better seed but playing without consistency.

“There’s nothing if we’re playing like this and we end up third. I’d rather be playing really good basketball … And I feel like we found something [vs. POR] with how hard we played on the defensive end.”

Last month, it looked like the Celtics were starting to figure things out. They were winning and at that time, it seemed only a matter of time before they catch up with the Eastern Conference leaders Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.

But for some reason, they lost their sense of urgency and are back to losing against teams they should be beating. They can't seem to get any type of momentum going.

The outcome of the Celtics' season will most likely affect their plans in this summer's free agency. All-Star guard Kyrie Irving could easily bolt out of Boston to join another team. He has been rumored to be interested in signing with either the New York Knicks or the Los Angeles Lakers.

In order for Boston to have a shot at re-signing Kyrie, they will need to figure out a way to win, and they need to do it as soon as possible. Otherwise this will season will see a disappointing conclusion for the Celtics.
