Boston Celtics veteran big man Al Horford remains unfazed despite his wife already noticing people's comments about his age.

At 35 years old, Al Horford is still one of the most impactful players in the current Celtics squad. While some have already written him off, the 14-year veteran proves that he's ageing like fine wine at Boston, averaging 12.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game in his first 10 games this season.

Despite Horford's resurge with the C's, some people just can't help but talk about his age, something his wife Amelia had already asked him about.

“My wife [Amelia] she’s like, ‘I don’t understand this.’ Like, ‘Why is that a thing?’,” Horford revealed via NBC Sports.

Much like his attitude inside the basketball court, Horford deals with the matter calmly and with an open mind. According to the five-time NBA All-Star, none of these is new to him as he has been hearing about it since approaching his 30s.

“For me, honestly, I'm kind of used to it because when I was 30 here, I feel like people were bringing it up like, ‘Oh, he’s 30!’ and all this stuff,” the Celtics center explained. “I play how I play, I've kind of been kind — I feel really good, physically. I feel really good. I know where I'm at. I know what I can do. And, yeah, I’m 35, but I feel as long as I'm putting in the work — I am putting in the work — I’m doing everything that I need to do and I feel like I can keep playing at a high level.”
