As Boston Celtics forward and St. Louis native Jayson Tatum celebrated the St. Louis Blues' Game 7 win against the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final, some Boston fans were not too happy about the alleged disrespect shown by the 20-year-old towards his adopted city.

Not that he needed it, but Al Horford's sister, Anna, came to the defense of her brother's teammate, calling out some of the fans who were criticizing Tatum:

To be fair to some of the Bruins fans who may have gotten offended by Tatum's joyous celebration, losing a Game 7 is never an easy pill to swallow. This is especially true when it happens to be in the Stanley Cup Final. These supporters were obviously feeling so disappointed and heartbroken by the defeat that they could not help but get triggered by Tatum's celebratory tweet.

Then again, what did they expect? As a St. Louis native, Tatum has been a Blues fan since he was a kid, and it was only natural for him to join in on the victorious celebration. His unwavering support to his hometown team does not in any way diminish his loyalty to the Celtics. It would absolutely be foolish to even think this, and it would be foolish to expect him to root against a team he has supported all his life.

In terms of basketball, though, it's actually Boston's loyalty to Tatum that will be tested this summer. The promising 20-year-old has, on several occasions, been rumored as a potential trading piece for the C's in their pursuit of New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis, so it will definitely be interesting to see how this offseason plays out for Jayson Tatum.
