Boston Celtics big man Aron Baynes will be out yet again with another injury. He is expected to miss at least 2-4 weeks because of a Grade 2 ankle sprain.

Baynes suffered the injury during the Celtics' 118-115 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The seven-year veteran can't seem to get things going this season, as he's been in and out of the line-up due to various injuries. However, he is still expected to play a major role in the Celtics' quest for a championship, as his defense and rebounding definitely strengthens their chances of winning in the postseason.

This season, Baynes has averaged 5.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 14.7 minutes off the bench.

Boston is fortunate enough to avoid major injuries to their key players this season. The team is stacked with talent, and when they're at full strength, they can definitely do damage in the playoffs.

Baynes is someone who can provide quality minutes as the back-up of center Al Horford, but in order for him to fulfill that role, he needs to be healthy moving forward. He is expected to return just before the playoffs, which is a good sign for the Celtics.

Boston remains as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, and it is most likely that they won't get homecourt advantage in the postseason. Their best chance of winning is to make sure that they're all 100 percent healthy once the knockout rounds begin.
