The Boston Celtics are rolling over the Miami Heat… again. Jayson Tatum and co. have been absolutely electric in the first half of Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals yet again. It's led to them taking a huge lead over their opponents yet again in the first half. This time, though, there's something different about this lead.

The Celtics headed into the third quarter with a 25-point lead on the road against the Heat. That lead is the largest road halftime margin in franchise history for the Cs (excluding the 2020 bubble). Talk about dominance on enemy territory for this team! (via ESPN Stats and Info)

Early in Game 2, it seemed like the Celtics haven't fully recovered from the Heat's scintillating second-half comeback in Game 1. They looked lethargic, as if they were a shell of themselves. However… they immediately found their groove in the middle of the first half, and what followed was the exact same script in Game 1.

The Celtics' notorious defense came out to play again, locking out Jimmy Butler and the Heat for long stretches during the half. At the same time, their big-time shooters came to play, with Tatum, Grant and Robert Williams, and Jaylen Brown playing crucial roles for them on offense.

The question for the Celtics now, though, is simple: Can they keep this up in the second half? We saw them take a similarly large lead in Game 1, only to collapse in the next two quarters. Perhaps the return of Marcus Smart and Al Horford in the lineup will help stabilize this roster for these big moments.
