Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens has moved into fourth place on the team's all-time coaching wins list.

After defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, Stevens now has 309 regular season wins as head coach of the Celtics.

After everything that happened with John Beilein and the Cleveland Cavaliers, it makes what Stevens has done in his time with the Celtics so much more impressive after coming from college.

Stevens has adjusted to the NBA game so quickly. Obviously, it helps that he has coached plenty of All-Star players, but it is still his coaching and principles which are driving Boston from within.

The Celtics are in third place in the East. With Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward leading the way, Boston has a shot of winning the Eastern Conference this season.

Getting past the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks is going to be a big challenge for the Beantown team, but they definitely have some of the best players and one of the best coaches in the NBA to make it happen.

Brad Stevens and the Celtics are back in action on Sunday against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center. Boston is hoping to have Walker in the lineup. He didn't play against the Timberwolves because of knee soreness.
