The Boston Celtics have a rather interesting slate of games in the next two weeks.

They kick off the first game of a back-to-back on Wednesday night at home against the Detroit Pistons before heading to Fiserv Forum to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. After that, the Celtics come right back to Beantown for a three-game homestand before embarking on a three-game road trip.

Head coach Brad Stevens reverted to the words of Celtics legend Larry Bird as he attempted to describe how the team handles the hectic schedule.

The roller-coaster nature of the schedule matches Boston's recent results.

Injuries have made it tough for the Celtics to find consistency. They won eight of nine at the end of December and early January, but subsequently lost three straight between Jan. 6-9. However, the they have since recovered with wins in each of their last two contests against the New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls, respectively.

More importantly, they are finally returning to full strength. Although the Celtics do not expect reserve center Robert Williams to return before the All-Star break, all the key rotational fixtures are healthy. Marcus Smart overcame a strange series of infections in both of his eyes, and Kemba Walker is back into the flow of things after a bout with the flu.

This is a good time for the Celtics to hit their stride. Aside from facing the Bucks in Milwaukee, this eight-game stretch will also include the Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies (surprisingly competitive in the Western Conference), Orlando Magic and Miami Heat.
