Boston Celtics wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have a growing contingent of support for the Beantown duo earning their All-Star laurels this season.

Friday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, in which Tatum and Brown combined to score 64 points, further bolstered their collective All-Star case as the Celtics are 3.5 games behind Eastern Conference top seed Milwaukee Bucks.

Head coach Brad Stevens called the Tatum-Brown connection “unique” after the victory, per Boston Sports Journal's Brian Robb on Twitter.

Meanwhile, both Brown and Tatum alluded to great things ahead of them and Boston in the near future.

After the departure of All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving in free agency last summer — and even with the arrival of three-time All-Star Kemba Walker — the question of who will step up for the Celtics in this next phase has permeated around the team. It looks like there isn't a singular answer, however, as both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have taken strides in their respective games during the 2019-20 season.

Brown is averaging a career-best 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game entering Friday's contest while shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from 3-point range.

Meanwhile, Tatum is averaging 21.3 points and 7.2 rebounds a game, shooting 41.5 percent from the floor and 35.6 percent from deep in his third year in the league.

Tatum and Brown are averaging 20-plus points alongside Walker, who is leading the Celtics in scoring at 22.6. Two more players in Gordon Hayward and Marcus Smart are averaging double-digit scoring figures for the Beantown team this season.

The Celtics are currently 22-7 on the season and are riding a five-game winning streak. Before facing the Cavs, they took down the likes of Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors.
