Following the franchise's first appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals in five years, the Boston Celtics have undergone major changes to their roster this offseason.

It has seen them move four out of the five starters from last season with the only remaining player in the lineup being big man Al Horford. With that in mind, Celtics head coach Brad Stevens commented on the busy offseason during a Q&A session on Friday, according to Chris Forsberg of ESPN.

“My job is to coach the guys that are on the team and I'm learning all their names this week,” Stevens cracked. “I always write initials on the board and I'm sure to screw that up.”

The Celtics have added many major pieces to the puzzle with a pair of All-Stars in Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward along with a proven big man in Marcus Morris. This has brought increased scoring to the table while also put them in a better position to compete with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

There will be some adjusting through the first couple of months of the season as the players build chemistry with each other on the court, but things should quickly pick up after that. Boston has put together a roster that has plenty of potential to develop into something special over the next several seasons.

With a proven young head coach at the helm in Stevens, this could mark the beginning of another highly successful string of seasons for Boston.
