The Boston Celtics have struggled on the road this postseason. Against the Cleveland Cavaliers, they really haven't had a chance in any of the games away from TD Garden.

In Game 6, the whole team struggled, but Al Horford, their veteran leader, was nearly invisible for most of the evening.  Horford played 37 minutes and all he had to show for it were six points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

Horford was good during the first quarter, but after that, there was nothing to show for his production, and the game could have had a different outcome if he would have played better. Celtics coach Brad Stevens wasn't willing to throw his star center under the bus though.

“(Horford) was really productive in the first quarter. He was outstanding,” Stevens told reporters, via ESPN's Chris Forsberg. “Every time he touched the ball in the post, it felt like we scored.”

“I think it's easy to look at a stat sheet, but I think, the way that (the Cavaliers) were playing, he made all the right plays, especially early in the game,” Stevens said. “Al does not care if he's the one that's scoring, he cares that our team scores.”

Although Stevens said that Horford made all the right plays, there were some plays down the stretch of the game that they both wish would have gone a little different.

The good thing about Horford is that he has another opportunity in Game 7 and if he has a big game, all the struggles in Game 6 will be forgotten.
