The Charlotte Hornets are quite familiar with Kemba Walker but were still completely deceived by their former player in this beautiful play. The Boston Celtics hosted the Hornets at TD Garden on Sunday, as Walker welcomed his ex-teammates by putting them in his highlight reel.

The speedy guard turned on his boosters at the halfway mark of the second period, as he drove right to the middle of the Hornets' defense. Walker aggressively attracted four white shirts as made his way to the cup, all with the intent of blocking his lay-up.

The crafty four-time All-Star, however, changed his mind mid-air, as he kicked the ball out to a completely unbothered Jaylen Brown for the wide-open trey in the left-wing.

That filthy pass certainly resulted in a clean look for the All-Star forward. Here's the brilliant play which extended the Celtics double-digit advantage.

Walker, of course, has borne the brunt of the blame for Boston's inconsistent showings in the 2020-21 campaign. While his numbers are still decent, it's down across the board notching 18.1 points on 39.7 percent shooting from the field and 35.4 from three, along with 3,6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.1 steals before Sunday's game against Charlotte.

While Cardiac Kemba isn't exactly known for his playmaking abilities, that dime may have been one of the best ones he had in his career.
