The Boston Celtics injury report shows that Jaylen Brown who is dealing with right hamstring tightness will be out on Wednesday night for their game versus the Los Angeles Clippers. Brown has not played in the last three games and the Celtics are 1-2 without him on the court during that stretch. Jabari Parker is also questionable due to a non-covid related illness.

It makes sense that Boston is deciding to keep Brown out until he is fully healthy. If Boston wants any chance to make some noise in the playoffs this season, Jayson Tatum and Brown must be fully healthy.

Brown isn't having a bad season by any means, but he's not playing as well as most were hoping for it. He's averaging 21.4 points per game and is shooting 46% from the field. Celtics fans were hoping that Brown was going to be close to a 26 points per game scorer this season. For them to make a deep push in the playoffs, they're going to need Jaylen Brown to play the best basketball of his career.

Boston is having an interesting season that has shown them giving a glimpse of what they're capable of, and nights of them underperforming. The front office didn't do a great job during the offseason to put together the right team and it has shown on certain nights. If Boston wants to be competitive come playoff time, expect them to be active at the trade deadline and add a few pieces to help them compete.

Right now, Jaylen Brown getting healthy is their biggest concern and that's exactly what they are going to look to do so he can come back and help this Celtics team play the way that they are expected to.
