Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics are in a bit of a rut recently, as they're currently on a three-game losing streak. It's been quite the roller coaster for this franchise this season, as last year they were one of the hottest teams in the league. Currently ranked ninth in the Eastern Conference, the Celtics could potentially shake things up a bit to right the ship. Danny Ainge, the general manager of the Celtics, has been putting the blame on himself and made some interesting points on “Toucher and Rich,” a popular Boston sports show.

Based on these takeaways, Ainge sounds like he's looking to make a change to the roster. However, it is important to note that Ainge believes the team is, “lacking confidence and resolve.” That very well could be a coaching problem, or maybe the team isn't getting along like they did a year ago.

Chris Forsberg shared another tweet, speculating on Ainge's possible maneuvers in the near future. According to Forsberg, “Ainge reaffirmed he won't make a deal to make (a) move just to make a move but wants to add help. Says he's always exploring ways to upgrade the roster.”

Either way, it sounds like Danny Ainge has something cooking for the Celtics. He may make a trade soon, or fire Brad Stevens, as those seem to be the two decisions he's boiling down to. The NBA trade deadline is March 25th, so if the front office makes a move, expect it to happen between now and late March.

Boston is a city used to winning, so being in this situation isn't something the fan base enjoys. Ainge is likely to do what he believes is necessary to get the Celtics back on track this season.
