Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter continues his online trolling ways amid the growing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has been wreaking havoc across the world.

The NBA has suspended its 2019-20 NBA regular season campaign shortly after Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for the virus. The entire league is currently on the lookout for more possible cases, particularly from teams who faced the Jazz for the last 10 days prior to Gobert's diagnosis.

Kanter gave NBA fans quite a scare on Sunday with his interesting choice of words on his Twitter account.

The Celtics, meanwhile, were among the five NBA teams who took on the Jazz a week before the NBA's suspension. This, of course, played perfectly into Kanter's rather crude joke.  The Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, and Toronto Raptors all tested negative from the virus.

Kanter's humor did not sit well with some Twitter users, considering three NBA players have already been confirmed to be infected by the highly-contagious virus.  Jazz All-stars Gobert and Donovan Mitchell were the first two to get the disease, while Pistons slotman Christian Wood's results also came back positive after spending a lot of time defending Gobert during their respective teams' match-up.

Then again, Kanter has always had the history of being quite the prankster online. The 27-year-old Turkish center even changed his profile photo to him wearing a face mask.

Kanter's tweet, however, does have some truth to it, considering the Celtics have enjoyed a successful run prior to the league-wide suspension. The Brad Stevens-mentored group did not display any chemistry issues and amassed a 43-21 record (3rd in the Eastern Conference).
