Basketball fans can always count on Enes Kanter to speak up on injustices that happen on and off the court. The opinionated Boston Celtics big man was quick to jump on the legal issues top prospect James Wiseman is facing.

As expected, he fired off against the NCAA for ruining the young cager's dream.

The Celtics center took to his Twitter account to voice his displeasure at the entire affair. Kanter even went the extra mile, comparing the league to the government of his motherland, Turkey.

To see Enes Kanter compare the NCAA to the Turkish regime is quite a big insult. Kanter's life is at danger from the Turkish government and relinquished the chance to play in London when he was a part of the New York Knicks due to that very threat.

Wiseman, a highly rated NBA prospect, was deemed ineligible to play for the Memphis Tigers due to the off-court actions done by Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway. He reportedly helped the Wiseman family move to Memphis, and the league believes that largely influenced his decision to commit to the school.

Despite the ineligibility, Wiseman was given the green light to play his second NCAA game by the court and put on a show for the fans.

However, this isn't the only controversy the NCAA is facing at the moment. They faced a lot of flak when they initially resisted the move to allow student-athletes to profit from their name and likeness. The criticism became so harsh that a former Purdue basketball coach called the organization “entitled” for their greediness.

Memphis Tigers fans are hoping that the league will have a change of heart when it comes to their prized star. However, that will depend on the result of the legal process.
