Boston Celtics big man Enes Kanter revealed his top five players in NBA history. Interestingly, he notably omitted Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

The Celtics forward has Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Larry Bird and Shaquille O'Neal on his list.

For what it's worth, there's nothing wrong with Kanter's list and he's entitled to his own opinion.

However, it's surprising that the Celtics big man doesn't have the most prolific scorer in NBA history on his list. Abdul-Jabbar scored 38,387 points during his Hall of Fame career with the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers. He was also a 19-time All-Star, six-time MVP, two-time Finals MVP and six-time champion.

Maybe Kanter still has nightmares of Abdul-Jabbar dominating the Celtics back in the day, although it's hard to choose which player from Kanter's list we should replace Kareem with. All five guys are NBA legends and LeBron will join Jordan, Bryant, Bird and Shaq in the Hall of Fame one day.

Kanter, who is in his first season with the Celtics, was averaging 8.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists for Boston before the 2019-20 campaign was suspended in March. The 28-year-old, who has never shied away from speaking his mind, was also shooting 56.6 percent from the field and 70.8 percent from the free-throw line.
